Connecticut Spirit Mission Statement
Established in 2003, the Connecticut Spirit quickly became recognized as one of
the premier girls AAU programs in the northeast. We are committed to providing
opportunity to young female student-athletes ready to commit exceptional
dedication to the game. Supporting teams in the 10-16 age groups:
• We believe in whole child
development – even more important than skill development we value and
grow character, integrity, sportsmanship and teamwork.
• We believe in providing the highest quality of coaches – passionate people
who love kids, know the
game, and are committed to bringing out the best in every player on and off
the court.
• We believe in the fundamentals of the game, and
are committed to teaching and developing the
skills that become the foundation from which all great players are
launched. ยท We believe in
providing experiences through competitive game schedules that strengthen
relationships broaden
perspectives, and emphasize the value of coming together with a common
goal.
• We believe in dreams and young athletes with the desire to compete at all
levels including
collegiate. Through game and life skill development as well as a strong
network of relationships
with college coaches that is continually growing, we open doors and
facilitate opportunities that
help players achieve goals.
